Santa Cruz, famous for its Beach Boardwalk is at the northern end of Monterey Bay on the Central
Coast 75 miles south of San Francisco and 40 miles north of Monterey. This picturesque resort nestles
against the redwood filled Santa Cruz Mountains that separate it from the San Francisco Bay area. You
must visit the Beach Boardwalk, the classic oceanfront amusement park, and ride the 1924 Big Dipper

Put the Beach Boys on your ipod and walk along the beaches of Santa Cruz and Capitola and groove to the
surfers at Pleasure Point and Steamers Lane. There are a fine selection of restaurants and shops on the
always colourful Pacific Avenue. Stroll through the cathedral calm of the mighty redwoods in the nearby
